Prayer for St. James’ New Home
Tuesdays  & Thursday at 12:00 noon

All are welcome to attend and join us in prayer for St. James’ new church home. We will be meeting in person every Tuesday at 12:00 noon in the church chapel for 1 hour.

Additionally for others who cannot meet in person, we will host a zoom meeting on Thursday’s at 12:00 noon

There will also be a group meeting after the service in the chapel to pray on Sundays immediately after the service.

If you have your own business, work in the corporate world, or seek to advance your career integrating your faith, you will find these sessions invaluable. When Jesus began his ministry, he said, “The Kingdom of God is at hand.” Then he told his disciples to pray, “Thy Kingdom come.” What is this kingdom, how does it work, and why is it so important for disciples of Jesus to understand it? Beginning April 14, Pastor Brian will be launching a new sermon series called, “The Kingdom of God” that will not just be enlightening but will reveal the importance of your work and life in this world.

Next Steps is the annual gathering for all clergy and laity in the deanery. Its purpose is to help us be more intentional about our witness for Christ. It will be held on Saturday, April 27, 8:30 am-2:30 pm at All Saints Anglican Cathedral in Long Beach. Cost $45 includes coffee, snacks & lunch. Register at www.anglicanla.net

If you or a friend are grieving the loss of a loved one, we invite you to be a part of Grief Share, a ministry to help individuals find hope and healing after the death of a loved one. The National Day of Prayer is this Thursday, May 2. Come join friends and neighbors as we pray on the Plaza at Newport Beach City Hall from 12:00-1:00 pm. Road Closure For the OC Marathon

The Orange County Marathon will affect some of the roads around the church next Sunday, May 5, from 4:00 am – 12:00 noon. South bound lanes on Red Hill Avenue will be closed from Main Street (Irvine) to Mesa Drive (Costa Mesa). Baker and Paularino thoroughfare streets at Red Hill will be closed. North bound lanes on Red Hill will be open.
